Be amazed by the reinvented mills and green cityscape which emerges as you drive north on Falls Road from Penn Station into the rolling countryside. See the mills that grew along Jones Falls in the nineteenth century, making Baltimore the nation’s largest producer of cotton duck, used to make sails. Explore the cultural landscape of the valley, which features the Baltimore Streetcar Museum, the mill villages of Hampden and Mount Washington, delightful restaurants and shops, and mills adapted for artists at Mill Centre, Meadow Mill, and Clipper Mill.
